Chair, Space Scotland

Craig is a successful space technology entrepreneur and the Founder of Clyde Space, Scotland’s first space company. Awarded an MBE for services to Technology and Innovation in 2013, Craig is considered a leading figure in the Scottish and UK space industry. Craig sits on a number of Boards including Board of Trustees of the Glasgow Science Centre and is the current elected Chair of Space Scotland. Craig is Professor of Practice for Space at the University of Strathclyde and is the Chairman for fast growing engineering company, Sylatech Ltd, in Yorkshire.

His professional career is driven by two passions; to establish and grow a leading and sustainable Scottish space sector and to encourage more young people into STEM careers.

Craig is active in the support of entrepreneur mentoring activities, including with Seraphim Space Camp and Entrepreneurial Scotland.
