Maxine Bulmer, Vice-President Consulting Delivery | Cyber Security

Maxine has over 30 years’ experience in information security, with the last 18 years at CGI, and she is currently the Vice President for Cyber Consulting and Engineering in the Space, Defence, and Intelligence Business Unit.   She has operational experience working with a wide range of clients and their projects across public and private sectors, with her specific areas of expertise covering security strategy, risk assessment, governance and compliance, business continuity, privacy and data protection. 

With more than 20 years leading large teams the CGI cyber security sector is one of the largest in the UK with more than 250 members working the length of the UK in all sectors from oil and gas, telco, finance and insurance, retail and many HM Government departments.  Having successfully lead the team that developed CGI Cyber Escape, this mobile asset takes a fun and immersive approach to cyber security enabling clients and community groups to have hands on experience of cyber security and the programme was a finalist in the 2021 UK National Cyber Awards Innovation category.  As well as being passionate about supporting STEM activities, providing careers advice for students and raising the profile of cyber security at external events, Maxine represents CGI as an ambassador on the National Cyber Resilience Centre Group, working closely with policing and government to share knowledge and provide support to local Cyber Resilience Centre’s customer base and supply chains.
